Vermiculite introducing has been started from almost 200 years ago in USA and industrial applications have been started 100 years ago. Vermuculite is a kind of industry mineral which could be clean with water very easy and it is flat and scaly and has dark colour. Vermiculite which is exracted from mine almost has no using in industries so most of mining companies consider machinery and all kinds of klins (1300C) for manufacuring expanded vermiculite. High temperature converts high volume in vermiculite . High volume and resist aginst fire and absorbing water they are characters that made expanded vermiculite one of  the useful mineral in all kind of industries.
